About This Podcast

This podcast, formerly known as the Last Turtle Podcast, now the Citizen Philosophy Podcast, derives its (new) name from citizen science. It means philosophy shouldn’t be practiced, explored, and enjoyed by academics only.

This podcast is intended for anyone who wants to hear and discuss philosophical topics without having to be able to quote Aristotle or Kant (but still awesome if you can).

It will cover topics like Metaphysics, Consciousness, Society, the Nature of Reality, Moral Philosophy, Free Will, Truth, Science, Technology, and beyond.

This is also an experiment, the format will include mainly interviews but also free form philosophizing. It is likely to change and evolve as we go along. Feedback and suggestions are always welcome!
